Reserving Your Machiya
Reservation Procedure


Reservations can be made easily through our website: just follow the "book now" links. Your machiya stay is just a click away!


After receiving your reservation request, we will e-mail you the necessary payment information and banking details.


After checking that your reservation and personal details are correct, payment is requested by transfer to our bank account in Kyoto or through the Paypal system.


Once we have received payment, your reservation will be confirmed.
* Charges may apply for cancellations made after confirmation of your reservation.


We will contact you to let you know once your payment and reservation have been confirmed.

* If you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of Machiya, please contact us by phone or email.
Payment Methods
Bank Transfer
Please click the 'Bank Transfer' link on your reservation form. We will then send you an e-mail explaining how to make the payment for your machiya stay. 
*Guests are requested to transfer payment under the same name entered on the Reservation Form.
Credit Card Payment
Please choose [Paypal] from the reservation request form. 
Once you have finished the form and agreed to the credit card terms of use please carry out payment of amount by credit card as indicated at the Paypal site.

Cancellation Charge
The following cancellation charges will be applied depending on the amount of prior notice given.
